This official portal features general information on the opportunities open to international students in Korea, with links to all major colleges and universities, as well as detailed information about admission procedures, requirements, student life and costs of living.

The service is intended for students at all levels, and provides information on undergraduate courses, Master's programs, and doctoral studies.


National Institute for International Education Development(NIIED)

National Institute for International Education Development(NIIED) is an executive agency of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development of Korea. The main trust of NIIED is to provide quality education for overseas Koreans and to promote international education cooperation through Korean language education, staff development programs, and scholarship grants.

 

 
Scholarships

Korean Government Scholarship

The Ministry of Education offers a scholarship program for international students from the countries that have a bilateral cultural agreement with Korea. Foreign scholarship students are actively making contributions to increasing the ties and amity with Korea in various fields such as education, government,and global entrepreneurialism.

University Tuition Scholarship

This scholarship is given to students with academic excellence. The amount differs according to the academic performance. Applicants should contact the university or college which they want to apply for.

Student Exchange Program

Student exchange programs operate under formal agreements between universities in Canada and partner universities in Korea. Students who study at one of these universities as part of an exchange program pay full-time tuition and compulsory incidental fees only to universities in Canada, and not to the host institution in Korea. These programs allow you to study in Korea for either one term or for a full academic year. It is not neccessary to be concerned about language problem because many universities offer English classes. It would be a great experience to study a field of interest in Korea as an exchange student.
